Does Saura diagnose skin conditions?

No. Saura describes how skin looks in your photos and tracks it over time. It is not a medical device. Anything that hurts, bleeds, spreads, changes quickly or worries you is one for a dermatologist.

What leaves my phone?

Nothing, unless you choose "Allow" on the "Use OpenAI for photos and replies?" screen. Then the photos, voice clips and text needed for the feature you use go through Saura's proxy to OpenAI. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

How do I stop sending data?

Settings → Privacy → turn off "Use OpenAI for photos and replies". For dermatologist notes: Settings → Privacy → turn off "Let OpenAI read my dermatologist notes". Saura keeps working on your phone.

What does “Demo” mean?

Anything labelled Demo is sample data, not information about you.

Why does Saura speak, and how do I stop it?

Saura speaks when you talk to it, in hands-free mode and while a routine is running. Settings → Voice has the options. Hands-free shows a ring and a “Hands-free” caption for as long as it listens; tap the ringed mic or say “stop listening” to end it.

Does Saura work on iPhones other than iPhone Duo?

Yes. It runs on iPhones with iOS 26 or later, and uses both displays on iPhone Duo.

Which languages?

English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Nepali, Bulgarian and Simplified Chinese. Some voice features depend on what your iPhone supports for that language.

Delete your data

Everything Saura stores is on your iPhone. Settings → Your data → Forget everything removes your photos, journal, chat and About me. Step-by-step instructions for single items: Delete your data.
